The opportunity
Our internal Finance team is looking for a Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for maintaining and controlling the books of several legal entities. In addition, you will join a young and dynamic team, genuinely passionate about its work, within a leading global professional services firm.

Your key responsibilities

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Document financial transactions for several legal entities
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
• Prepare accounts and tax returns
• Support external statutory and fiscal audits
• Develop procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and standardize and/or simplify processes

To qualify for the role you must have

• You hold a Bachelor degree in Accounting
• You have at least 5 years of working experience in accounting
• You are fluent in French or Dutch, and English
• You are able to work with financial software and Excel
• You are passionate about finance and accounting
• You are able to adapt quickly to changes and can handle multiple priorities concurrently
• You are analytical, accurate and have strong data-gathering skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good interpersonal skills, which makes you a great communicator
• Experience working in a multinational company with people located all over the world
