Job Purpose & Scope:
As a key finance support for the Regional FP&A team, the Senior Financial Analyst EMEA is responsible for leading the consolidation of financial estimates, providing financial analysis to FP&A management (and broader finance function) coordinating the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecasting across the business functions, and driving timely and accurate reporting and analysis of performance versus plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial forecasting, reporting and analysis - analyze actual financial results against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly estimates and prior year to summarize and clearly communicate the financial and operating results (which include Volume/Price/Mix analysis, sales operations, manufacturing cost, other COGS, and SAG expenses) of the SBU in order to measure progress against business objectives,
- Support other functional areas by providing financial analysis related to pricing, cost, profitability and capital expenditure to enable the best business decisions. Provide recommendations through an analytical, fact-based approach,
- Monitor and analyze profitability by class of business and product with a deep understanding of price/mix and cost impacts,
- Provide support to management in the area of cash planning and analysis,
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide support in key projects related to finance processes and systems e.g., SAC, Cooper integration,
- Support the development of talent for the finance organization, including the utilization of a strong performance management process that aligns individual objectives with business metrics and connects performance against those objectives.
Education
- Graduate degree with a concentration in a business-related field (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.) is required as a minimum.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in finance, with evidence of shown analytical skills in a large company or accountancy firm,
- FP&A experience preferred; solid background in financial reporting & forecasting, profound knowledge of financial systems (SAP, Hyperion,.)
- Experience in working in a project-based environment is an advantage,
- Process improvement experience is preferred.
